Questions people ask

Can I use ordinary incense cones in a backflow burner?

They will burn, but the smoke won't fall. You need backflow cones, which have a hole through the base that draws the smoke downwards.

Why isn't the smoke flowing down?

Draughts, a blocked hole or a cone that is still flaming are the usual causes. Blow the flame out fully, keep the burner away from open windows and fans, and clear ash from the channel once it has cooled.

Where should I put it?

On a flat, heat-resistant surface out of reach of pets and children. The cone gets hot, so never leave burning incense unattended.
