Choosing a doormat for every season

Plenty of people keep a few doormats and change them through the year. For spring and summer there are Les Fleurs tulips, Hello Sunshine sunflowers and Bee Radiant; for autumn, Hey There Pumpkin and the Spooky Street; for winter, Christmas Street, Santa Claus and a Solstice Wreath. Howdy Cowboy Boot and the Home for Teatime calico cat work all year.

There's also a blue leaping hare doormat and a Sacred Sight heart welcome mat. At £9.99, a doormat makes an easy housewarming gift.

Questions people ask

How do I clean a doormat?

Shake or beat it outdoors and brush dried mud off with a stiff brush. Avoid soaking it, and if it does get wet, let it dry flat.

Can a doormat stay outside?

Under a porch or canopy is best. Constant rain makes any fibre mat wear faster, and printed designs fade sooner in full weather.
